Wines

The farm was born as a viticulture and olive but, over the years, has specialized in the cultivation of vines. Has improved and expanded by renewing its vineyards. Top product is the production of Chianti Classico D.O.C.G., wine made in various types depending on the vines and vocation, location of the various vineyards.

RISERVA CHIANTI CLASSICO D.O.C.G. is the most valuable wine. TACCIO CHIANTI CLASSICO D.O.C.G. is a wine of remarkable quality and interest, which fully reflects the character of the vineyard from which it comes. CHIANTI CLASSICO D.O.C.G. is a classic quality wine.

Riserva

Appellation: Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.
Grapes: Sangiovese 95%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%
Fermentation: in temperature-controlled, skins in contact 21/28 days in steel vats
Ripening: in barrels of cement for 12 months
Ageing: 12 months in barrique and further refinement of 6 months in bottle
Alcohol: 13.5%
Colour: deep ruby red
Aroma: complex bouquet with subtle hints of undergrowth, ripe fruit, floral notes of violet, spices, vanilla notes.
Taste: balanced, full bodied, tannic, warm, persistent, very harmonious.
Goes well with: roast red meats, poultry and venison.

Il Taccio

Appellation: Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. Il Taccio
Grapes: Sangiovese 92%, Canaiolo/Colorino 8%
Fermentation: in temperature-controlled, skins in contact 21/28 days in steel vats
Ripening: 6 months in barrels of cement
Ageing: 6 months in large oak barrels and further refinement of 3 months in bottle
Alcohol: 13.5%
Colour: ruby red
Aroma: intense bouquet, red and black berries, light note of boisé
Taste: tannic, warm, full bodied, very balanced
Goes well with: red and white meats

Classico

Appellation: Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.
Grapes: Sangiovese 95%, Canaiolo 5%
Fermentation: in temperature-controlled, skins in contact 21/28 days in steel vats
Ripening: 12 months in barrels of cement
Ageing: 3 months in large oak barrels and further refinement of 3 months in bottle
Alcohol: 13.5%
Colour: bright ruby red
Aroma: bouquet well expressed with prevalence of iris and violet
Taste: cool, dry, good acidity, very pleasant with good backbone
Goes well with: roast s of white and red meat, cheese

Red table wine

Appellation: red table wine
Grapes: Sangiovese, Canaiolo
Vinification: skins in contact for at least 2 weeks
Alcohol: 12.5%.
Colour: light ruby red
Aroma: very fruity
Taste: fresh, medium-bodied, very pleasant and harmonious
Goes well with: starters, cold dishes, poultry, white meats.
