The farm Richiari Porciglia is situated in the town of Greve in Chianti, in the province of Florence. Greve is located in the hearth of the Chianti, region rich of wonderful landscapes and an excellent Italian wine producing area named Chianti Classico.
The farm is to be found halfway between Florence and Siena on the picturesque Chiantigiana route. Travelling along this road it is a pleasurable experience. You can admire the typical Tuscany landscape with its scented and colorful vineyards and olive trees.
The main target of Richiari Porciglia is the production of high-quality wines based on the principle that only the best grape can produce wines of excellence.
The company policy is to supply natural products using traditional methods (the harvesting, for example, is entirely a manual process); above all to offer excellent quality wines at value for money.
The efforts of a year culminate with the harvesting and the work in the cellars where, all the emotions that a territory can offers, are contains in a glass.
None of this could take place without the invaluable assistance by the oenologist Dr. Giovanni Cappelli.
